let me introduce Singapore today

Let's start it with the weather. It is easy to describe -- just hot. My hometown is Harbin where is extremely cold now, so when I came here, I really cannot adapt to the tropical weather here.  Every time when I go out, I am always wearing thick UV-protect cream. But after a few days, I still sadly found that my skin have turned to be suntan. Moreover, it seems that holding an umbrella in the sun here is kind of strange. So it turns out that I should accept the fact to be a lady with healthy brown skin in the future. For the present, it is in the rainy season of Singapore. It is raining every afternoon here. So people said that it is the coolest and best season now because of the rain.

The people -- most people here are really nice. Certainly there always are some impolite guys everywhere, so it is the same here. But most people here are really nice, and they do not speak aloud and smoke in public places. They do not eat or drink in the buses or MRT stations.  Some how, I think people here are so earnest. For example, there are rules about people cannot speak aloud in public places. So when Singaporeans find someone make noise or something else, they will report this to the authorities. Last year when I came here on a trip, I saw a man was taken away from MRT, because he speak aloud on the phone. In China, in this situation, people definitely leave them alone.

The food -- there is a lot of delicious food from many different places. It is just like a treasures bowl collected all the delicacy of the world. If you like varieties of food, and also have enough money, congratulations, here is your heaven. You can have the pure French cuisine, a variety of American fast food and of course all kinds of Asian food. I heard on the east coast, there are many good restaurants to eat sea food. But it will cost much, so I have not been there yet. But I decided to go to there for celebrating got a nice job.

The traffic -- the traffic is so good for such a small place, because there is no traffic jam here. But on the other hand, to avoid traffic jam, they build their roads zigzag. Sometimes I see the two places' straight distance is too short, but I will reach there after a long time.

The circumstance here is very nice. Fresh air, big trees all around, and clean surroundings make life happy here. Before I came here, I thought there must be a lot of mosquitoes here. But actually, there are not. I keep open the window all day, and I have not seen any one in my room. But the little ants are everywhere, that is kind of annoying.

Singapore is a big shopping center, all the famous brand are offered for sale here. Every big MRT station has a big shopping center. All the merchandise are not much expensive. People here spend half month salary can get a nice computer, or a LV bag, or two iphone4s. So on the street, almost every lady carries a LV bag, and almost everyone have an iphone. Attention, please, everyone here actually means everyone, not only including the young, but also the old ladies and kids.  But I am not interested in luxuries, so I don't go shopping often.
