Since modern times, the strongest complaint against bloody inhuman labor is "workers are personal freedom. They just practice the reproduction of labor force simply, rather than achived the self-development." In here, what these labor forces obtained is only the “physical reproduction” without any personal freedom. They are servitude tools totally.

Most of these slaves are retarded. They were organized as “Disabled Self-improvement Team”by the beggar adoption agency of Qu County, Sichuan Province and they were conveyed to Xinjiang according to a so-called "Labor Agreement". According to the agreement, besides the one-off charge, the labors made money for the beggar adoption agency at 300 yuan per month, and the agency will be compensated 1000 yuan for every lost one.

In modern society, both the physical and the mental disabled people should be helped. Even if the investment is limited, the country should express the strong desire to do at least. This is the national responsibility that requested by civilization and humanitarian value.

However, once again the disabled were turned into slaves. Previously, the “wiched brickkilns” have been reported in Shanxi, Hebei, Anhui. The so-called “investigate and punish” is inadequate to forbid the disabled being sold as salves. Moreover, this time the slave owner was recognized as “shelter 150 wanderers, deaf-mutes and retarded beggers successively for more than 10 years” by a commending file, and even act as the official of county association of industry and commerce.

This kind of labor enslavement make me feel shame rather than angry. Anger always needs an object. No doubt there are enough objects, that factory, that agency, those government departments which failed to discover the “secret”, that institution which commended thoes who enslaved  disabled people... Anger has lots of places to go. However, In my opinion, slaver and labor enslavement should be viewed as a shame record more appropriately.

This shame belongs to everyone. Not only because everyone will be externally marked by labor enslavement, but this shame also make people hardly face their own heart. Profits and development are so important to someone that their humanity, pity and mercy have already gone away, that the fundamental value of the modern world has already been taken away.
