About the 2010 World Cup

Finally the 2010 World Cup fever is gone, yet the World Cup sequela remains.

This seems to be the first time that I have watched a relatively complete world cup, from some games of the first round to the final. Besides, I burned the midnight oil just to watch a single game with one or two friends. Indeed, I like watching football games on TV, while in leisure time I prefer to watch classmates play basketball games if accompanied. I can't figure out why, but I know that football games are quite different from basketball games. Usually we cannot simply go for how many goals there are in one match; we also keep our eyes open for how the players play. But when we sit and watch a basketball match, often we merely count the scores. Therefore, to an "unreal football watcher", sometimes a 90-minute match can be truly boring.

This year, I have a crush on German giants. They are so young, but they make it! I even couldn't hold my tears back when they lost the game to Spain again. But as they are still young, not only do they need more practice and experience, but also they can fight for the cup once again in the Brazil World Cup in four years. Honestly, with every game the German handsome guys played, I feel it quite a happy thing to be glad or sad when I know the result, as if I was also a member of the team, staying with these guys. Congratulations to Muller! He's inexperienced, but this time he was awarded two great prizes. His future must be promising. And it was a big pain and pity for Miroslav Klose, since he didn't enter for the final and did not have the last chance to break Ronaldo's world record, yet he had left us so much sweet memory and won many Chinese hearts and the respect from all over the world. He's the hero!

World Cup, which lasted for only one month, has already impressed the whole world a lot. I even haven't got used to the fact that my life should be back in the right track. Football makes small countries big. It brings together the world. I like World Cup!!!
